EntryCheck™ 925
The SDC 925 EntryCheckTM is a stand alone digital keypad
designed to control access of a single entry point for facilities
with up to 480 users. Each user is assigned a personal
identification number (PIN). Keypad entry of a valid one to
six digit code activates one or both of the output relays which
releases an electric door lock or triggers a gate operator.
The 925 EntryCheckTM is intended for extended service,
indoors or outdoors, in tough commercial environments. The
keypad is housed in a rugged, cast aluminum enclosure that
can be mounted to a wall or pedestal. A keylock secures the
housing to the mounting plate. The die-cast buttons feature
bright, durable, easy to read, yellow graphics.
Pressing any key activates a courtesy light, illuminating
the keys for two minutes. Verification of key presses is
provided by audible and tactile feedback. If the user presses
a wrong key, the * key can be used to reset and start over.
When a valid PIN is entered the LED indicator turns from
red to green and the programmed relay activates for the
programmed time. Too many incorrect PIN entries will lock
out the keypad. Keypad lockout is indicated by a yellow
LED. An anti-passback feature prevents use of the same
code twice before a programmed time period elapses. The
EEPROM memory retains all entry codes and programming
during a power failure.
The EntryCheckTM features four independent outputs with
four independent timers. Outputs #1 and #2 are Form “C”
relay contacts. Outputs #3 and #4 are solid-state open
collector outputs, short to common, which are used to signal
forced entry, door ajar, lockout, shunt alarms, request to exit
and keypad active conditions.

Several input and output options are available, including:
A door sense/disable input, when programmed for “Door
Sense“, a door status switch detects forced entry or door ajar.
When programmed for “disable” the input may be wired to a
maintained switch or automatic timer that will disable relay #1.
The EntryCheckTM also has a request-to-exit/enter input for
connection to an exit switch or fire access key switch for fire/
emergency access.
When access is granted the alarm shunt option is activated
shunting alarm contacts on the door or gate. This prevents
triggering of an alarm during authorized access.
