FLIR Fixed Cameras for Thermal Applications
The FLIR Sentinel is a rugged, compact multi-sensor system coupling a standard
resolution, dual field-of-view 35x140mm thermal imager with an 18x optical zoom
daylight camera. Hard-mounted or installed on a pan/tilt mechanism, Sentinel can
integrate into existing networks, or act as a stand-alone system.

Auto-focus
The ThermoVision Sentinel's exclusive auto-focus feature delivers crisp, clear
images at the press of a button or whenever fields of view are changed. The
system allows you to experience better situational awareness in the wide field
of view, while maintaining detailed recognition capabilities in the narrow field
of view. A 4:1 continuous digital electronic zoom provides for another level of
magnification and fine-tuning for target discrimination purposes.
Advanced Automatic Features
Sentinel offers a variety of automatic and digital image enhancement features,
designed to increase detection capabilities and to reduce the operator workload.
Rugged Sealed Enclosure
The Sentinel is tested to IP65 and meets NEMA Class 4. It is protected against
rain, dust, sand and corrosion, and has been shock tested to 25 g under IEC
68-2-29 and vibration tested from 5-500Hz under IEC 68-2-6. The system also
includes an integrated sun shield and high operating temperature specification
for hot climate operation.
Reliable Operation
The Sentinel uses the same imaging payload as the ThermoVision Sentry II. Over
980 Sentry and Sentinel systems have been fielded.

The Sentinel is supported by a complete documentation package. Also, FLIR
applications engineers are ready to support OEM installations to insure success.
