Easy Printer Setup

CCD Camera and Video capture Card
To set up a badging station, add an optional Hitachi VKC-77 camera and a Flashpoint 128 video capture card. Both products are well respected in the industry and will deliver sharp, ghost free images when used with the proper lighting.
Standard Digital Still Camera
To add the flexibility of a portable still camera, Continental offers the Olympus D-340R. This provides 1280x960 resolution at 1.3 Megapixels and is easily connected to the serial port of a Smartlmage equipped computer.

Badge/Screen Editor
Users can modify or create badge and screen designs.
Supports Windows Standard Fonts and Images The Badge editor uses any fonts installed on the system and uses a common image type supported by Microsoft Windows. Use your scanned company logo or images effortlessly.
Sophisticated Badge Editor Text Manipulation Feature:
The editor screen provides sophisticated tools that allow the user the maximum flexibility while designing the badge. Enlarge the font, change its color, italicize, make it bold, add highlight or shadow or rotate it. All this in an easy to use interface.
Sophisticated Image Editing Features
Images can be faded to support security industry standard effects such as ghosting. The editor provides tools to fade, change the angle, change the background change the aspect ratio, stretch and align the image.
Badge Preview is Included
Users can view a finished badge on screen prior to printing, a handy feature that prevents the waste of valuable card stock while designing a badge.
Data Entry Screen is Linked to the Database
The CardAccess personnel screens are internally linked to the Smartlmage badge design editor to allow seamless access to all personnel record fields

The Smartlmage design editor provides easy-to-use tool bars. Placing objects on a badge is as easy as pointing and clicking! The editor tool bar allows users to add or remove text or images, or database linked text or images. Support is also provided for fixed or database barcodes and magnetic stripe encoding.
